Paterson Educator Was Wrongfully Fired

Hello, my name is Shannara Gilles. I created this page to support my sister and her family during a challenging period. Eight months ago, I shared that my sister had recently given birth to a newborn daughter and has two other children, an 8-year-old son and a 16-year-old son. Unfortunately, her husband, Boswell Anglin, was unexpectedly fired from his job on Wednesday, May 3rd, 2023, without any explanation or proper procedures being followed.

This termination has had a significant impact on their family. Currently, my sister is unemployed due to her maternity leave. Additionally, Boswell's termination has affected his family, friends, coworkers, administrators, and the students who relied on him as a dedicated community-based mentor and Instructional Assistant. Furthermore, Boswell is a committed service member who served this country with honor and received an honorable discharge. He has been an inspiration and an invaluable asset to the troubled youths around him.

Recently, Boswell Anglin was arrested, charged, slandered, and humiliated after standing up to the district for wrongful termination. These charges were brought forward six months after he was assaulted and spat on by students. Boswell did not receive a fair due process and now faces false charges as a retaliation for standing up to the district's wrongful termination, also he is challenging the falsified child neglect accusations that were brought against him.
