The Annual Sankofa Direction

Sankofa is an Akan (Twi) term that translates to "return and retrieve".  The Sankofa symbol depicts a bird with its head turned backward taking an egg from its back. It indicates the importance of reaching back and retrieving past knowledge and implementing it into the present for positive progression into the future.

The purpose of this project is to help improve the lives of those who are less privileged in remote areas of the motherland, Ghana.  

This year, the goal is to improve the lives of the students who attend Crystal Palace school in Obuasi by enhancing their learning environment. 

We will appreciate any donation towards this goal in impacting the lives of the students.
