The Annual Shave

Hi Everyone,

On the 8th of January we lost Peter Bright. A man who meant so much to a lot of people. Pete had a little bit of a tradition, going back more than 30 years. He would shave off his beard and head within the first week of the summer school holidays and then spend the entire year growing that glorious beard back. It was his annual pamper day hahaha

Pete didn't get to have a pamper day this year so I thought I'd do it for him. I have grown my beard and will continue to grow it until Sunday the 17th of December. On this day I will shave the lot! Beard...GONE. Head.....GONE.

All of the money collected will go straight to the Footscray Rowing Club (Pete's second home) for them to use as they please.

I might try and see if the shave could happen at the club and maybe a little bit of a gathering could be arranged, but that won't be confirmed until closer to the date. I will also run some sort of streaming of the event on YouTube for anyone who wishes to see the before and after.
