The Apsley Feral cat outreach fundraiser

Hi my name is Katie, my mother Charlene and I are trying to help the feral cat population in our small town. Our mission is to spay and neuter the feral cat population to lower the amount of new kittens. also to re-home all previous kittens and any cats that are re-home able. With the help of other rescues, we will continue to feed cats that can not be placed into homes even after being spayed or neutered. As of right now we have a total of 21 cats and kittens that we know of. There is also two females we know are pregnant at this time.

With this fundraiser we are looking for any help you could give. We have successfully weaned and re-homed 11 kittens since 2022, however we need to fix the feral population to stop its growth even further. We have successfully trapped and fixed 26 adult cats, bottle fed 25 kittens . We have found homes for all but 10 adult cats. We still have 8 more to catch and fix but 3 of those are heavily pregnant females. We have supplied winter housing for the ones still outside and are awaiting the pregnant ones to give birth and trap moms and kittens together. The money raised is used for food,traps,spays,neuters,fostering and rehoming. We have spent well over the 4500 we were attempting to raise and are running very low on funds to continue.
