In Memory of Jake Arcara

As many of you already know, Yorktown has lost one of their very young highway workers, Jake Arcara, on September 14th. We are collecting funds to help with any expenses the family will now incurre due to the accident, including funeral and memorial costs.

Jake was a Lakeland High School graduate, class of 2011. He has been working for the town since 2017, he was appointed Motor Equipment Operator in April.

Jake was engaged to be married next year, he was a brother, an uncle, a son and a friend to all who knew him.

His wake will be held at Clark Funeral Home on Monday, September 19th 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Shrub Oak on Tuesday, September 20th at 10am.

The Yorktown Highway Department will be setting up a memorial in Jake’s honor.

Any and all donations will help, as losing Jake was a sudden loss.
