The Armento Family

Dear friends and community members,

We come to you with a heartfelt plea to support our dear friend Tara Metzler-Armento (43), who is currently battling brain cancer. On May 4th, Tara received the devastating diagnosis and underwent surgery to remove the tumor. As of June 26th, she has started treatment at the University of Penn in Philadephia, PA requiring daily travel into the city, and is also participating in groundbreaking clinical trials at Lenox Hill in New York City, causing the family to make frequent trips to New York.

Tara holds a special place in our hearts as she has been a dedicated coach at Metzlers Gymnastics for over 20 years. Additionally, her husband Mike is the proud owner of CrossFit Rock Solid in Downingtown, PA, which has been a staple in the fitness community for an impressive 12.5 years. Together, they are the loving parents of two incredible girls, Carmela (16) and Giuliana (13), who participate in travel softball and competitive dance.

The Armentos, Metzlers Gymnastics, and Crossfit Rock Solid have been pillars of strength in our community, extending their helping hands to numerous families in need. Today, we have the opportunity to give back and show our unwavering support. By contributing to this cause, every single donation will help this remarkable family navigate through these challenging times.
