The Armstrong River Hawks Rifle Team

To whom it may concern,

The Armstrong Senior High School Indoor Small-bore Rifle Team is currently seeking donations to assist with costs for their 2023-24 competitive season. Last season was our largest team on record since the inception of the team with this season looking to be even larger. Going into our sixth season, with the increased number of student athletes, such necessities for additional materials, supplies and equipment have become required to maintain the ability to remain competitive and continue to focus on the student athletes’ safety.

As a team, we are co-ed with student athletes from grades 9-12 (with neighboring schools participating), where safety, teamwork, sportsmanship, and a competitive drive is taught to all participating individuals. Being a PIAA sanctioned team, athletes will be given the ability to compete against other participating schools in a proper and safe environment, where victories or defeats, many that come in the mere fractions of a millimeter, will be encountered. Student athletes will have the pleasure of experiencing victories, championships (both team collectively and individually) and creating new friendships along the way.

All raised donations will be used in the upgrading of equipment utilized by the students and also for improvements to the facility to ensure that all participants have the opportunity to compete to the best of their abilities in the safest manner possible. The Armstrong Senior High School indoor small-bore rifle team would like to thank you for your time and consideration in this matter. We as a team would be sincerely grateful in any and all donations made to help further our competitive success in this challenging sport.
