What does MTM mean to you?

Maybe you've been to all of our shows. Maybe you've been to a few...maybe none. Maybe you've been part of our artistic community by participating in one of our fifty+ productions or our many special events.

We want to mean a lot to the community. We pride ourselves on being the place where people can come to explore, learn, laugh, cry, and feel the power of music to change us. We want to be a place where every person feels comfortable. We want to offer musical pieces that trend away from the norm; that maybe don't tell you how to feel at the end but instead leave you wondering how what you just experienced applies to the world you're in.

Most importantly, we want to compensate every person who gives of their artistic time and talent.

For 18 seasons, we've done this. And thanks to the Artist Fund and donors like you every year, we are able to grow our special fund that provides a boost to make sure every person gets paid. Because of the Artist Fund, we've been able to significantly increase our payments and work with more people on bigger projects. And we've been able to keep the money in our community. We could not have done this without you!

MTM was not immune to the effects of COVID and the ensuing inflation. As theatres close all over the country, we're committed to continuing to bring new and lesser-known musicals and special events to the Madison area. To keep doing that, we need the Artist Fund.

Every dollar counts. You'll be supporting our February concert of "un-Valentine's Day" songs, a fall special event TBA, and our production of the Pulitzer Prize-winning Next to Normal, featuring a cast of local artists.
