The Atticus Gift
The Atticus Gift
A foundation created to help young people struggling with anxiety and depression.
The purpose of The Atticus Gift is to provide resources and support for young people and their families struggling with anxiety and depression. Additionally, The Foundation will help provide financial support and resources to existing organizations created to help families in need. Using art, music, and other creative outlets, The Foundation seeks to provide a soft place for troubled souls to land, to create a network of families and children who can help each other, and to give a compassionate and caring understanding to those struggling with challenging emotional issues.
The founders of The Atticus Gift, Tammy and John Cleaveland, have a unique perspective on the specific needs of families coping with the effects of the devastating illnesses of anxiety and depression. Having lost their son, Atticus Cleaveland, to an untimely death at the age of 17, the founders wish to provide resources and aid to other families in need.
“The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul.”
The Atticus Gift will help troubled souls find their purpose and a way to fulfill their deepest hopes.
Our goal is to create supportive outlets and networks for artistic teens struggling with anxiety and depression and their families, and to help non-profit entities already working with teens struggling with these specific issues. As we refine the mission for "The Atticus Gift" we will be keeping you updated here. All funds donated will go toward helping artistic teens and their families with these specific needs.
Thank you so much for your support!
