The Ballybrak Bulls

Ballybrack Bulls is a wheelchair basketball club located in the South Co. Dublin suburb that has supported wheelchair users since 2015. It costs approximately €4,000 to run the team in the Wheelchair Basketball League each year.

On October 15 2022, John will compete in an Ironman race in Cascais, Portugal that involves a 1.9km sea swim followed by a 90km cycle, and finally a half marathon run.

Two weeks later on October 30, he will take part in the Dublin City Marathon- a 26.2 mile race around the capital.

Ahead of his fundraising challenge, John said: “I am excited to complete in both Ironman Portugal and the Dublin City Marathon in aid of this amazing club that is so important to the community where I grew up.

I am excited to play my part to support them in the upcoming season.”
