Please Support Mrs. Banks and family
Donation protected
My name is Lan-Anh, and my son is a student of "Mrs. Banks" at Franklin Avenue Elementary school. This recovery campaign is being created on behalf of our community, in order to support our beloved teacher and friend. She has spent so much of her life supporting students and families and I hope we can now show her the same support.
Janet Ramdeen Banks, her husband, Ken, their daughter, Amber, and their dog Happy, have found themselves having to rebuild their lives. This is an unfathomably challenging time for the Banks family. Mrs. Banks is a second-grade teacher at Franklin Avenue Elementary School and has taught children and adults for over 35 years. Mr. Banks is a retired educator and counselor, currently suffering the debilitating effects of Parkinson's Disease. Amber is a freshly certificated history teacher at Diego Rivera Learning Complex, an LAUSD high school academy. Your contributions will be used to help them begin to rebuild their lives as they work toward finding a future. It will be a long road, and your support will make a world of difference. They are doing their best to remain positive amidst the profound reality of their situation and appreciate any support.
