This is now a battle for the first amendment, our most precious and important right as Americans. I'm not angry Mr.supervisor I'm motivated, I'm trying to get sh*t done and all your underlings are offering is resistance. I promised my wife last year was the year of the workshop, and 2020 would be the year of the yard, we're over halfway through the year, pandemic came and went and zero guidance on how to progress forward. Nothing but more hurdles. And you dare say my frustration doesn't warrant a 7' piece of phallic art on my property?! After the news story aired Friday at 4:30pm, Monday morning first thing code enforcement did was mail out not one or two, but seven appearance tickets for alleged property code violations. In clear and direct retaliation for my artistic protest and airing my grievances to the public, retaliation for first amendment protected conduct is an attempt to silence me, to shoot down any opposition to their authority, to quell someone of ordinary firmness. They've allied themselves with the new neighbor of just a couple years to wage war against me and mine. I've laid claim and defended this land for 20 years! I've retaliated within the confines of the law. They've lashed out and doubled down. It's getting messy, supplies are running out, rations are low, morale is waning.
