This is on behalf of my friend - have tried to keep personal details to a minimum as her battle is not public knowledge as yet - but she needs our help now!
Only a couple of weeks ago my friend of almost 9 years was a happy and healthy woman living in QLD with her husband & two beautiful young boys.
On the 26th June 2019 she left work early to see the Doctors, suffering severe headaches. Within a few days we learnt she had a tumor.
On July 3rd, she underwent brain surgery to remove what they could of the tumor. Unfortunately the news from her histology was not great and she has since been diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor known as a Glioblastoma - Aggressive & fast-growing. She is in for the battle of her life.
They are returning home ASAP to get healthy enough to begin treatment, but are now faced with this horrible uncertain future. Although the family are intensely private and never ask for anything, they need all the support and love we can give them through this. As everyone knows bills add up very quickly, especially when you’re not able to work and trying to run a household all at the same time.
Please if you can donate anything, no matter the amount it all plays a huge part, or even just sharing this around is a massive contribution. Keep her in your prayers and send your positive vibes through to her and the family.
If we can make this fight a little bit easier, we’re going to do whatever we can for her and her boys' future. She is a strong, determined woman with a beautiful young family to keep fighting for. She is not done living by a long shot!
