Friends of Batwa - School Project

We are embarking on a mission to bring education, hope, and a brighter future to the Batwa Tribe, also known as the Pygmies, residing in the South West of Uganda, specifically in the Kisoro District. The Batwa Tribe has faced historical marginalization and lack of access to basic resources, including education. Today, we stand together with them to change this narrative and build a foundation for a better tomorrow.

Our goal is to raise funds for the construction of a much-needed school that will serve as a beacon of learning, empowerment, and community development. Education is a powerful tool that can break the cycle of poverty, provide opportunities, and empower individuals to shape their destinies.

Why a school for the Batwa Tribe?

The Batwa Tribe has a rich cultural heritage that deserves preservation and celebration. However, due to systemic challenges, they have struggled to access formal education. By establishing a school, we aim to:
