The Baur family was recently hit with devastating news that Christian has stage three Esophageal cancer. They are facing the battle of their lives. This is a difficult cancer that will take a fight that needs a village...an army. I believe in our community and know that if people knew about what they are facing they would do anything they could! Please join us to help this special local family!
The first stages have begun and Christian begins his radiation and chemo on Monday...It will be daily for 6 weeks and will be evaluated on an ongoing basis. The treatments will be local but they will travel back and forth to Roswell for consultations and where the eventual surgery will take place.
This family has a long tough road ahead. Christian is a fighter but will not be working. They will need to pull together as a family existing on Karens salary as a Kindergarten TA at Lansing Elementary. They have a daughter, Emily who is a 9th grader, at Lansing High School and a son, Alex is a 4th grader at R.C. Buckley Elementary.
This family needs our emotional and financial support. Please join us in loving them through this tough time. It takes a village, we live in an incredible community. Let's stand by them <3!
