The Beaman Family
Donation protected
As many of you know, our friend Bruce Beaman recently passed away from complications brought on by a long battle with Diabetes Type 1. Over the past three years, as a community of friends, we have witnessed the horrific toll this battle took on Bruce. We also understood the weight this all had on Johna, his wife, as she bravely soldiered on to care for all of Bruce's needs (and there were many), while also insuring that their child Brooke was thriving. Add to this her struggle to manage her own business, which at times suffered due to the many demands placed on the family by this insidious disease. In the end, the fight was a gallant one, but ultimately Bruce has passed and Johna is left exhausted and reeling in grief, facing so many realities, including the difficult strain on their family finances.
If you have been thinking of sending flowers or bringing over a hot dish of food, take a minute and consider offering a small donation instead. The funds we can raise will help Johna and Brooke get through these tough times. Any remaining funds will be placed in a scholarship savings account for Brooke. Your generosity would be greatly appreciated and will bring a sense of relief to this well-deserving family.
