The beautiful, precious Hallie Carrott

Hi, as a family we are setting this up on behalf of Haylie and Craig, to give the beautiful Hallie the best send off possible.

Devastatingly, Hallie passed on the 26th November 2024 at 13months old.

Hallie had cold symptoms and started to find breathing difficult. Her parents took her to a and e on Saturday 23rd November 2024 concerned. The staff in a and e were going to send Hallie home but noticed a small rash so kept her in overnight.

On Sunday 24th November, again Hallie was checked over and her parents told she would be going home. Hallie wouldn’t drink and so the doctors thought it was best for her to spend another night in until she had some water.

The next few hours were extremely upsetting and completely unexpected. Sunday night Hallie suffered from two cardiac arrests and was transferred to Southampton General Hospital. Hallie was put in an induced coma to give her little body a rest. It was discussed Hallie had a potential heart and kidney problem which might have needed surgery. Hallie was stable and being monitored in intensive care.

It is so desperately sad but Monday night Hallie suffered a stroke and Haylie and Craig her parents, had no other choice but to turn her life support machine off as there was nothing else anyone could do for her. Hallie was surrounded by all of her family when the time came and went peacefully to heaven. It is thought but not confirmed Hallie had a genetic heart defect from birth.

Hallie was unbelievably loved and cherished by all that knew her. No parent should ever have to plan a funeral for their child and to support Haylie and Craig in anyway we can, we have set up this fundraiser to give Hallie the best send off we can.

Her parents are absolutely distraught. Her big brothers are going through the hardest thing they could ever go through. Please give them time to come to terms with what has happened.
