The Berube Family during a tough time

UPDATE— Surgery was a success!!! No extra blood was needed, and after the 5 bypass his heart started right back up without hesitation. He said it couldn’t have gone better. Now for the long road to recovery.

Hello everyone, I never thought I would be making one of these. Especially for my family. But in the past few months Dad (Alain Berube) has been having some rapidly decreasing health concerns. It starts around August when he had 2 heart attacks back to back, now fast forward to last Friday he went in for an operation to have stints put in which was cut very short. During that time it was found the right side of his heart has 100% blockages and the left side has 2 valves that are 80-90% blocked. That said tomorrow on Monday he will be going underway for open heart surgery for a triple bypass. I think it goes without saying the risks that are involved and what could happen and lord willing if everything goes well he will still be out of work for 8-12 weeks. He’s an extremely good father of 4 and grandfather of 3, but also a husband, son, brother and everything else. I know he’s hesitant on asking for help when he needs it but always the first to do everything he can to help someone else, so I hope this finds you all in a good time as I’ve set a $2,000 goal in a effort to help him and his wife Mandi Berube to get through this tough time. Now if we can beat that than it would be absolutely mind blowing. I’d love to see as much as we can before 10am Monday morning to show him how many people are standing behind him in this time of need. Thank you all.
