Please help Stevie!!

Stevie is a sweet 11 month old little girl who needs your help.

A little back story:
Stevie has been having GI issues her entire life, and recently spent 25 days in the hospital. Her doctors first put the blame on her getting breast milk, then told them she had a milk allergy. When she changed to a new special formula for this milk allergy, she was still having GI issues. They told them it was because of the type of formula she was on. Even the GI doctor in their practice that they’ve seen a few times did not seem alarmed by anything they told him. Mid March, Stevie caught a virus that made her extremely sick and dehydrated. They went to Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh and thankfully the doctors there were able to recognize that in fact, all of her GI issues were not normal and they were never normal.
Stevie was not allowed to eat anything for a few days in order to give her gut a rest. This was such a painful few days for her, Breigh-Ann and Mike. Nothing is worst then your child crying because they are hungry and not being able to feed them. Then they did a trial run with a formula that was carbohydrate free. She did not show any improvement with that, so they were able to rule that out. Stevie was again not allowed to eat anything for the time being. She received a PICC line to help her get nutrients. She also received a scope so the doctors could get a closer look at what’s going on. They did finally get some answers, but those answers were both relieving and overwhelming.
The diagnosis was: “very early onset Inflammatory Bowel Disease”. Inflammatory Bowel Disease is a disease that affects many people, but to see it in a child under the age of 6 - more so, a baby that is Stevie’s age is almost unheard of. Because of how incredibly rare this is, her doctors have spent time covering and checking all bases to make sure they aren’t missing anything.
Stevie was discharged and did start some treatments around April 12th. However, not long after, she spiked a very high fever and had to be re-admitted to the hospital on April 21st and remains there. They think she caught some sort of bacterial infection that is just never ending.

In order to alleviate some of the financial burdens that Mike and Breigh-Ann will be experiencing, I decided to start this GoFundMe for them. If you would prefer to donate directly to them via Venmo, Breigh-Ann’s username is: @BreighBez

Thank you so much in advance for your generosity!!
