For nearly 48 years, PP’s has been more than just a bar — it’s been the cornerstone of our neighborhood, a place where everyone is welcome, friendships are made, and marriages begin. It’s where misfits, dreamers, and locals have found a home, where stories are told, and where community thrives.

Now, this iconic bar is at a crossroads. We don’t want to see another piece of our city’s history turned into a parking lot, a chain restaurant, or more student housing. We don’t want some big investor or developer to let yet another legendary local hang fade into building dust. We want to keep this bar alive, just as it is, for the community that has loved it for nearly five decades.

We refuse to let this legacy disappear. A group of former employees are coming together to purchase the bar and keep it exactly as it is—with only minor enhancements to plumbing and electrical to ensure it stands strong for years to come.

This is where we need your help. We’re calling on everyone who has ever walked through these doors, raised a glass, or shared a memory here to help us save this bar and keep its legacy alive. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to ensuring that this beloved gathering place remains for generations to come.
