The Beyoutiful Soul Shop Rebuild

Aloha fam,

As many of you know, on Aug 8, 2023 our home, community, schools and both our Beyoutiful Soul Shops went up in flames with nothing left but ash.

A week prior to the fire, The Beyoutiful Soul Shop won the BEST GIFT SHOP in maui and was runner up for best jewelry store AND best boutique! We supported maui made, women owned and fair trade products. We were the only store front on the entire west side to offer permanent jewelry and offered many other speciality gifts. We had just opened our second location to the exact day , April 1st, exactly one year later from our first store. My family and I made all the jewelry in which we specialized in one of a kind, custom orders right on site and offered a very sacred and magical space for everyone who entered.

This was a 10 year dream. I drew this shop to a T on a vision board over 10 years ago and ironically was making new vision boards on 8/8 (lions gate) when the fire broke out. I have always been called to Maui, Lahaina specifically and knew this magical land full of Aloha was sacred and full of possibilities. A true dream life.

This dream and store came with 10 years of hard work and serious dedication. It started with craft shows all throughout California and then to Maui in 2020. Years of late nights, sweat and tears. It's been a long road to make this dream come true. We opened this store with the last pennies to our names and by having faith over fear.

Now, even though all we have left in this moments is memories, I know that we will come back stronger than ever . We will rise from the ashes....

This business was our livelihood. It supported my family and community in every way. It helped provide a roof over my daughters head, food on our table. It supported Hawaii made small businesses and handmade women owned companies.

Our entire lives were on Front street. From one end to the other from our homes, daughters school, both stores, Friends, morning coffee, favorite bagel shops to daily errands . Our everyday safe paradise now dreams to ash.

So now, not only have we lost our home and businesses but also our income and a way to support my fellow artists , dreamers and entrepreneurs.

Every donation, share and prayer helps up build our life back from the ground up. It contributes to the rebuild of our dream, livelihood and community.

100% of the donations will be used to help us all rise again.

They torched our dream, But they can never torch our mission !

This rebuild is going to take a village. And this is only just the beginning. The residents in Maui are being completely let down by our governments and truly are only getting through this because of the power of the Ohana here and all of YOUR direct donations.
