The Bill Houghton Memorial Fund
Tax deductible
On the morning of May 9, 2022, our dearly loved Bill Houghton took his life after many years of battling severe mental illness. His friends and family have initiated this GoFundMe to raise money for The National Alliance on Mental Illness. NAMI is a non-profit organization that was close to Bill’s heart because he volunteered for them and was always determined to help as many people suffering from mental illness as he could while he was alive. We know Bill would appreciate any donation to this organization and would be happy knowing he is still able to help his favorite cause even after he has passed. We whole heartedly thank anyone who donates to and shares this page and anyone who has reached out to his family and friends with so much love. Those who knew Bill would tell you that he was always the most interesting person in the room, an unforgettable personality, and a hilarious entertainer. He loved traveling, visiting foreign countries, experiencing new cultures, and making friends with every type of person imaginable. One of his friends described Bill as having lived five lives in his 25 years because of all the crazy adventures he had across the world. He always had a talent for freestyle rap and music and would often show off his impressive abilities. One of Bill’s favorite hobbies was making the most uniquely hilarious videos, as he was a genius writer, director, producer, and creative visionary. He also loved working out at the gym and making sure everyone knew about it. A huge fan of stand-up comedy, at different points in his life Bill dreamed of being a comedian. One of his best memories was playing varsity soccer for Dulaney High School. He loved his family more than anyone and stayed alive as long as he could for them.
This page was created with the help of his sister, Audrey Houghton and great friends Nick Liberto, Nick Moore, and Andrew Abell, so special thanks to them and to anyone who donates for helping Bill’s name live on!
