A Note from Jodi, Brad, Bella & Avery:

"There are no words that can express the immense amount of gratitude and thanks we have. The kindess ,generosity and support that we have been given over the last week has been overwhelming.

Last Friday, our lives were forever changed. Our little firecracker baby Avery recieved a diagnosis of B-cell lymphoblastic leukemia. Which at this point we were actually thankful for, the known is far less scary then the unknown when you are facing a life changing diagnosis.

This disease is so highly curable and with her early diagnosis and positive factors, we have no doubt that she will beat this. Within this last week we have met the most incredible team here at the Janeway and we are thankful that they are in her corner to fight with her. There are so many more people I know we will meet along this journey that will have a major impact on our lives.

This journey to her recovery is a long one, one that will have many ups and downs mentally, physically and emotionally but we will conquer each one we pass.

This diagnosis is a parents worst nightmare and honestly one I could of never imagined I would be living 2 weeks ago and still have not fully processed. BUT what we have experienced along this short journey already has been the most uplifting and filled with hope and positivity. It is what is getting us through. We will continue to use the kindess and positivity we have been showered in to navigate this new path we are on and find a new sense of normal.

A week ago, Brad, Jodi and Isabella, received news that their sweet baby, Avery (15mos) has developed Leukemia.

Avery has to undergo extensive treatment for a period of time, in which Brad and Jodi will have to be absent from work.
