The Birkey Family: Fire at The Pillars in Oswego

When Taylor, Laura, and their four kids purchased The Pillars, they knew it was the fulfillment of a wild promise that God had placed on their hearts years before. This historic home was well-loved by its previous owners and the community; it would be well-loved again as the Birkey family worked to restore the house and establish the “foundations” of what this home would represent to them and all they welcomed.

On Jan 24, 2024, The Pillars was gutted by a fire, leaving little left. While the dream they have for this home to be a place of refuge and renewal for themselves and others is still on their hearts, the process to rebuild will be lengthy and involved. Amidst it all, the Birkey’s continue to honor God for His provision. Join us in supporting this amazing family as they remake “home.”
