The Black Urbanist 2022 Capital Campaign

EDIT on 1/6/2022 -- Even though I didn't get my most radical wish, you can still grant me the wish of raising $12,000 by the end of this calendar year. I have already been able to pay hosting fees throughout the year and I'm setting a goal to pay annual fees for several other key expenses I have. Additionally, If you're familiar with my work and haven't had a chance to contribute before, this is a great opportunity to do so anonymously (well, I'll know it's you, but no one else has to know). Not in the US and want to contribute in your currency, you can pay me via PayPal using the email [email redacted]? The original text on my fundraiser is as follows...
Hi, I'm Kristen. I'm a Black Queer Feminist Urbanist based in the DMV, but from Greensboro, NC. Every year on my multimedia platform -- The Black Urbanist , I make radical wishes. Sometimes they are radical wishes for myself and other times they are radical wishes for humankind, especially as we relate and create in metropolitan areas.
This year, in honor of over a decade of doing this wish-making practice, I am making the radical wish for myself of raising $12,000 by January 1, 2022 to purchase a lot of my business expenses in advance for the year and hire a few interns to help me with growth. I've written $30,000 worth of grant applications for this purpose, but as of right now, I have an urgent need to pay for my web hosting, my P.O. box, and my accounting software so I can welcome in these investments and continue to be accountable to you and everyone who chooses to invest in my work.
Upon receiving these funds and paying these bills -- I will be about producing the 2nd Annual Black Queer Feminist Urbanist Summit, launching the Black Queer Feminist Urbanist Index, and releasing my long-awaited second book -- A Black Urbanist Journey to a Queer Feminist Future. I'll also be releasing unlocked episodes of my Patreon/YouTube video interview and analysis show Open Studio with Kristen Jeffers and continuing to release my weekly newsletter. Crafty folks can meet me over at Kristpattern, knowing that they are downloading patterns and learning fiber techniques from a committed Black Queer Feminist Urbanist platform.
