The Bohanan’s & Langston’s Medical Fund

Hey, my name is Tami. Mother of Tonya & Grandmother to miracle baby, Langston Shane. Tonya has been very ill the last few weeks. She finally called her high risk OB & they suggested her go to labor & delivery to be evaluated. Upon being evaluated they admitted Tonya right away due to her labs being way off. Her hemoglobin was dangerously low, severely dehydrated, a major Crohn’s flare & a kidney infection in her right kidney, which is the kidney she has had renal calculi in for years. They’ve given her 4 pints of blood(which her hemoglobin is still low), 3 banana bags, IV antibiotics & constant IV hydration. They discovered she’s bleeding internally the doctors just aren’t sure where exactly. But, she has several different teams on her case. Unfortunately, any tests or procedures to check where at this point is too risky & not safe for Tonya or baby Langston. Xavier has been staying with Tonya, but unfortunately they no longer do meal trays or tickets for father or support person. They also aren’t sure when they can go home, it may come down to them being there until November or even until January when Baby is due. Baby Langston is doing great & is very active. It’s just Mommy going through a very rough road. They’ve been at UT a week so far, medical bills & their monthly bills are piling up, as well as food expenses for Xavier. We will make updates as we receive them. If you can donate our family would greatly appreciate it, if not please at least share this fundraiser. We thank everyone for the prayers! Tonya is strong & has already been through a lot, but this has taken a lot out of her. And this is the one thing she’s wanted since she was a little girl & that was to be a Mommy. But was robbed of that joy due to the doctor who originally messed up her gallbladder surgery causing her to get sick. It broke her heart when she was told she’d never be able to carry her own baby.
