Supporting the Bolstad Family

The Bolstads are a blue collar, community rooted family. Relocated back to Western Washington from Fargo for Jason's drafting work with Boeing just over a year ago, they planted roots south of Seattle with Anna continuing her work in local schools and their daughter Grace attending middle school and becoming a member of the leadership program. 

On Tuesday, October 13, in the middle of the night, Jason and Anna experienced a parent's worst nightmare. Grace called for help from the bathroom. They found her, seizing, and immediately called 911. She was rushed to a local children's hospital via ambulance where they discovered Gracie was suffering from a brain aneurism. She was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center where they prepped her and she underwent an 8+ hour brain operation on her front left lobe. She was then moved to ICU where she has been for the last 2 weeks. Since the surgery, Grace has undergone 2 additional procedures. Her surgeon has given her the nickname of snowflake as she has been so unique with her case and in her recovery.  ❄


She is strong, resilient and just a K-pop loving 12 year old girl who wants to get back to normal life,  planning for the holidays and being with her friends and family.  Due to Covid, visitations have not been allowed but Jason and Anna have been by her side the entire time. They are going to need our help. As most of you know, Jason was laid off from Boeing in July.  Anything that you can contribute to help offset their medical expenses from this catastrophic event would be greatly appreciated. Your generosity will help to ease their burden so that they can focus on Grace and her recovery. All donations will go directly to the Bolstads to help with the financial repercussions of Grace's current condition and what lies ahead.
