The Boys Need Your Help Getting To Cooperstown!!

The Ponte Vedra Thunder 12U baseball team is trying to continue a summer tradition at the most iconic youth baseball tournament in the world. As only available during a player's 12U season, the boys have been waiting years for this opportunity. This is a weeklong tournament in Cooperstown New York, home of the baseball hall of fame, with 100 teams, where the boys eat, sleep, play and enjoy some camaraderie. All of which is on site with the goal being to: "inspire our youth…the pride of the present, the hope of the future". The bar is set high for this team as previous teams from Ponte Vedra Thunder have won their respective Cooperstown tournaments in 2019 & 2022.

Hailing from Ponte Vedra Florida, just outside of Jacksonville, 13 boys have come together over the last 2 years to have some fun playing America's Pastime. Although their primary focus (maybe not always) is their schooling, they each have a passion for the game of baseball and the friendships they have built over the years. With a former professional and a high-caliber college player as coaches, the boys have learned the game as well as young life lessons. When taking a few months away from baseball, they play on the same basketball team where their pure athleticism and determination give full-time basketball teams a run for their money. These boys enjoy each other's company and are often found palling around off the field, whether at the pool, park or more recently fundraising with lemonade stands and running contests.
