Tragic Oshawa Fire: Bresca Family

We are heartbroken to share that our dear friends, the Bresca family, have recently suffered an unimaginable tragedy. A devastating second alarm house fire completely destroyed their home on McGrigor Street in Oshawa Ontario on March 12th, 2025.

Tragically, two of the beloved family members perished in the fire, while two remain in critical condition, fighting for their lives.

This tragic event has left them overwhelmed, both emotionally and financially. The loss of their home, personal belongings, and the ongoing medical expenses for those in critical condition are more than they could ever have prepared for. As they navigate this incredibly difficult time, we are reaching out for support from our friends, family, and community.

Your donations will go directly to:

⁃ Covering medical expenses for the two remaining family members (outside of OHIP)

⁃ Rebuilding their lives after the loss of their home

⁃ Helping with funeral arrangements for those who have perished in the fire

⁃ And assisting with day-to-day living expenses once they are back on their feet.
