The Briscoe family get back on their feet

Hi folks! I’m Erin! I have finally decided to ask for help. I lost a pregnancy 2 years ago that has made me very sick. I had to have an ovary and Fallopian tube removed because of an abscess that grew because of the loss of the pregnancy. That surgery nearly killed me in September. The doctors were able to save my life but in doing so I have been left with a colostomy bag and a wound that still hasn’t closed. I can’t work. I can’t lift anything. Most days I have pain coming from my colostomy site. My husband had to take almost 2 months out of work in order to care for me and our son Lukas. We are desperate to get back on track financially. The donations will be used to help pay our rent and other monthly bills. The donations will be used to pay off our car and all the other debts we have accumulated in the last 4 months. I will be having another surgery to hopefully reverse the colostomy. This means my husband will be out of work again for an undetermined amount of time. Anything will help at this point. I am thankful to have survived this nightmare but I am extremely scared as to what the future holds for my health and my families financial survival. Until I am given the clearance to work, I am unfortunately not able to help my husband at this time with making money. I have to get my body ready for the next surgery and it isn’t easy. I have lost most of my hair. I feel weak most days and I try my best not to get depressed. I have missed out on so much living because of how sick I have been. Having some financial stability will help me feel less worried about my family in this upcoming surgery. We will continue to fight for our lives back! We will continue to make the most of what we have! We love and appreciate all of the family and friends who have been by our side through this all.
