The British Are Coming (Back!)

Howdy folks!

If you're here, well you probably know all about my little adventures but let me introduce myself for those at the back, there: my name is Jack Browning, and I am a young musician and artist from England.

In 2022, I was resigned to giving up on music as a career, but figured I'd "record a song or two" before I was done. It turns out that...well...I wasn't done; on the contrary, in fact! I had a whole record in me, it turned out.

Red Eye Radio came out in September 2023 and it, quite literally, turned my world upside down. Not only did it help sky-rocket my art, but in just it's first year, it has been streamed hundreds-of-thousands of times around the world, and took me to the US to play shows for the very first time.

In July and August 2024, I toured five states (centred around Kentucky, mostly!) and played fifteen shows whilst there. I fell in love with the state, it's people and the musicians who I met on my travels.

Long before I recorded that debut album, I'd look longingly at Kentucky's Laurel Cove Music Festival lineup every year, hoping to one day pay the people of Bell County a visit as a punter. Well, I'll be going in June 2025, and not as a guest, but as a member of the lineup and I can't quite believe it!

I was asked in person last year by my good friend and hero, Jon Grace, during the show of mine that he hosted in Bell County's Middlesboro, and I have been plotting my return to my ol' Kentucky home ever since.

I am hoping to arrange another tour, like last year, but bigger, better and broader!

I am utterly blessed to have some incredible 'family' over there in the States and this side of the pond, too, many of whom have so generously asked how they could help me with the monumental costs of touring the world as an independent artist.

I've thought long and hard about it, and whilst there are a billion worthy causes to which you might offer your hard-earned money, I wanted to see what I might offer in return and make it a sound deal for the both of us!

I was astounded by people's generosity and love last year, and I've already been floored this time around by the people who, despite me not asking for help, have been asking how they can help me out a little.
