The Brittiany and Brandon Jackson family

Hi! My name is Brittiany Jackson. I am a family oriented, Jesus loving woman. I graduated from the illustrious Jackson State University and continued my education to become an occupational therapy assistant. A year later (2013) I entered motherhood and had my first son. In 2021, I married the love of my life, and in 2022 we had our second son. Now 2023 brings us here. At the end of May I began feeling a palpable lump in my right breast. In June, I went in for an annual exam. I had a subsequent mammogram, ultrasound, and biopsy. By July 13th, I was diagnosed with Stage 2B breast cancer. I’ve begun my 16 rounds of chemotherapy to be followed by surgery, radiation, and endocrine therapy for the next 5-10 years. I want to add that recommended age for mammogram is 40 years old, and I just turned 35 in August. I’m beyond grateful for early detection, an aggressive medical team, supportive family and friends, and God’s never-ending favor. Thank you all for your love and generosity during this difficult time!
