The Brooks Family Needs Help!

Greetings,

My name is Bear, and we are the Brooks family. My wife, Shavon, and I have been married for eleven years and have six magnificent children - ages 10, 8, 6, 4, 3 and 9 months. My wife and kids mean everything to me. They are my motivation every day and I love them dearly. I love them so much that I must humble myself, swallow my pride, and do anything within my power to take care of them, including asking for help even when I don't really know how.

As a husband, father, provider and protector, this is probably the most challenging thing I've ever done in writing this request, but yet at the same time, it's the most liberating as I'm able to admit that I need help! I've never been one to willingly ask for help in my adult life, as I've always tried to be responsible and accountable for everything that happens to my family and me. We've come a long way and have struggled through most of it, but God has been our source and will continue to be. I've lived enough to realize we all need help, and nobody can make it alone. It's been said that people need people and we are all in this together. I truly empathize with this sentiment because there were many times in my life when I had the financial means to be a blessing to people when they needed it the most. I'm now hoping that God hears my prayers, and through your generosity, love and compassion, you'll help us now when we need it the most.

I'm stepping out on faith to humbly and graciously ask for your financial support for my family as these seven beautiful human beings depend on me solely to provide for their needs.Your donation will help me significantly mitigate recurring expenses, keep a roof over their head, keep food on the table and keep clothes on their back. 

Our family would be so grateful for whatever donation you can bestow upon us during this time in our lives. Whether your gift be large or small, we are thankful. One thing I know for sure is that trouble doesn't last always. I know the best is yet to come, but asking for help now is the first step to allowing us to get back to helping others.
