The 2020 Brown Family Assistance Project

Donation protected
I am writing today to humbly request your assistance for a childhood friend and former classmate at Ypsilanti High School (Class of 1988) Braves currently named Ypsilanti Community Schools Grizzley in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

Dana Epps-Brown (49) diagnosed with Lymphedema in January 2020 which required the amputation of her foot due to complications with her lymphatic system. She is confined to a wheelchair.

Dana’s husband Leonard Brown (50) was in a serious accident in December 2019 which caused him too to be confined to a wheelchair.

Both Dana and her husband recently moved back into their house in May 2020, and now they are faced with additional financial hardships, including a wheel chair ramp, pest extermination, major repairs due to rodent infestation, and minimal changes for handicap accessibility.

We have several former classmates who are contractors that agreed to volunteer labor to do the wheelchair ramp, major repairs, cleaning and painting.

Please help us by donating to the Brown Family Assistance Project.
