The Brydges centre children’s home, Nairobi

Hi, both myself and Laura have the privilege to go volunteer in The Brydges centre in September this year to help rebuild the children’s home that suffered a devastating fire earlier this year.

The Brydges Centre, located near Nairobi, Kenya, is a children’s home that cares for the physical, emotional, educational and spiritual needs of orphaned, abandoned and abused children in Kenya.

Unfortunately a few weeks back a devastating fire ravaged through their beloved orphanage, the community has come together with renewed determination to rebuild and restore hope. The once vibrant sanctuary, where children found solace and a chance to thrive, now stands in ruins. The orphanage is launching a fundraising campaign, aiming to gather the necessary resources to reconstruct the facility.

By contributing to this cause, donors will help pave the way for a brighter future, giving these children the foundation they need to excel in school and beyond.
