On Sunday December 3, Melanie Buck tragically and unexpectedly died at home while caring for her newborn son Joe Claude Buck. Melanie’s husband and European Pressphoto Agency staff photographer Paul Buck rushed home after receiving a call from the police. Joe Claude was safe and in his crib but Melanie had passed away.
We, Paul and Melanie’s co-workers, colleagues and dear friends, have started this fund as Melanie’s passing now leaves Paul with the challenge of raising his six-week-old son on his own. We want to help this father and newborn son face the burdens and obstacles in their future with courage and security. Any donation is enthusiastically appreciated and we thank you for your concern, love and generosity.
