This October 11-year-old Leah was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her leg. Understandably this has been heartbreaking for Leah and her entire family.

Leah the oldest of 3 girls in her family. She is a very caring child, the type who always thinks of others. She is the thoughtful child who makes homemade Christmas gifts for all 20 of her extended family members each year. She is an athletic young girl who enjoys figure skating, hiking and mountain biking.

Leah faces a long and difficult journey ahead of her including chemotherapy, surgery and the possible amputation of her leg.

The purpose of this Go Fund Me is to support the Bucklers by helping them overcome the anticipated costs to come, such as time off work, many overnight trips to Sick Kids, medical expenses that may not be covered, etc.

With many unknowns ahead of them over the next 7-9 months, I have set the goal for this Go Fund Me to help them out over the long term. So if you’re able to donate today that is wonderful, or if you are unable to give at this time but can at a later date that is great too.
