THE CALIXTE FAMILY

Greetings to you All,

On Sunday, February 4th, 2024, at 12:00 am, a devastating fire engulfed the home of the Calixte family. Their home which they had cherished for an incredible 35 years with their 4 children. The home that not only had memories through the rooms of their children. But this home was making memories with their grandchildren as well. This heartbreaking incident has left the Calixte family currently without a home to call their own. This tragedy has also displaced two other families, who tragically lost everything they owned.

For over three decades, the God-Fearing Calixte family has love the Lord and has leaned on knowing that the Lord is the backbone of their entire family's existence. It was a place filled with laughter, love, and cherished moments. However, in a matter of minutes, their entire world was turned upside down as flames consumed everything they held dear.

The Calixte family, along with the two other affected families, are currently without basic necessities, and personal belongings. The fire has left them in a state of shock as we all know how this situation has turned their lives upside down.

We have created this GoFundMe campaign to rally support and provide a lifeline to the Calixte family and the other 2 affected families. Your generous donations will go towards the following:

1. Prayer: Your Prayer is most needed and is so necessary during this time!

2. Temporary Housing: Funds will be used to secure safe and comfortable temporary accommodations for the families as they work towards finding a permanent solution.

3. Essential Needs: The families have lost everything, from clothes, and furniture to vitally important documents. Your donations will help them purchase clothing, toiletries, and other essential items to meet their immediate needs.

4. Rebuilding and Furnishing: With your support, the Calixte family and the other 2 families can start rebuilding their lives. Funds will be used to help them cover moving expenses, temporary furniture, and a place to settle in as they wrap their heads around this current state of life.
