The Carpenter's Crew
Donation protected
Dear Contributors:
We are a local group of retired men who are looking at ways to give back to our community. We started a new initiative called The Carpenter’s Crew. We meet on a regular basis for an early breakfast together, and then spend the rest of the day working on projects for families and local charities.
Some of the projects we have worked on include; building a shed to house the upcoming Elora Community Fridge, working with Habitat for Humanity to paint their offices and reclaim donated kitchens for resale, painting the offices of Compass Refugee Center in Kitchener, painting an apartment of a single mom and helping struggling families with backyard projects such a patio or shed.
As we go forward, we plan to be more active with families in need and we want to raise funds to help purchase the required materials, such as paint and building supplies, that we will need for their project. We will have some annual administrative costs such as website fees and insurance. Everyone on our team donates their time free of charge and were hoping that you will consider partnering with us in this new venture as we look to raise $10,000.
Please consider giving $25, $50, $100 or a larger amount to support us. More information and pictures can be found on our website, thecarpenterscrew.ca.
Thank you in advance for your contribution.
