The Cedoline Family

My name is Miya Cedoline, I'm here opening my heart to the community and sharing my family's story, one that has brought us to a point where we must ask for your help and support.

Two months ago, our lives were forever altered by a sudden and tragic event. My dad, Michael Cedoline, was taken from us in a fatal motorcycle accident. He was more than just a father, he was the foundation of our family. He worked tirelessly to provide for us, ensuring we had the opportunity to live a comfortable life.

With his untimely passing, our family is facing an uphill battle. My mom, Denise Cedoline, has been left with the enormous financial responsibility of providing for herself and our two youngest siblings, Nathan and Giana, who are in the 8th and 10th grades. The weight of this burden has been proven to be more than overwhelming for us all.

What makes our situation even more challenging is that my dad did not have any plans in place for the possibility of his death. He left no life insurance policy, no savings to help secure our future. The basic costs of everyday life, from rent and gas to car payments, insurance, and putting food on the table, have become a constant struggle.

We have attempted to navigate the maze of social security in the hope of receiving the assistance we desperately need, but the system is severely backed up, making it incredibly difficult for the time being. As we struggle with the ongoing grief of losing our father, the pile of unpaid bills and expenses continues to mount.

This is why I've turned to gofundme to ask our friends, family, and community for help. Although my mom does have a rewarding job, it is not enough to make ends meet during this more than difficult time. She is actively looking and applying for a second job. All donations will go directly to Denise, so it can be immediately used towards rent, bills, gas, groceries, and every day expenses for her and the two children.
