The Celebration of David Corry Jr's Life

My siblings and I are devastated to announce the tragic passing of our father, David Corry Jr.
On Thursday June 27th, our father was spending his evening doing what he loved - riding his motorcycle with a dear friend on Route 209 (Bushkill, PA). During their ride, they came to a stop in the road as there were several cars ahead of them allowing some deer to cross. A driver then sped up behind my father and crashed into him, throwing him from his motorcycle. He died on impact from multiple blunt force traumas.
I had to spend my birthday the following Tuesday grieving my father. My sister brought new life into the world, a baby boy, the following Friday - my dad would've been the first person at the hospital in line to meet him. I can't stop thinking about how he'll never get to walk me down the aisle. Or meet his newborn grandson in San Diego, or any of his future grandchildren for that matter - and he adored his grandchildren more than anything... so much that part of his leg was reserved for tattoos of his "grandkids" names.
Our dad was a family man, animal lover, and had tons of lifelong friends. He was such a character and the funniest person I will ever have known. He is so dearly missed by all of us.
He dedicated his life to his business, Corry Plumbing & Heating LLC, since it began in 1997. He made strong, lasting connections with anyone he worked for and he truly cared about his customers like they were family.
We've suffered a tremendous loss due to something that could've been avoided with alertness and caution. We want to give our father the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes.
