The Celebration of Lea' Janae's Life

On July 9, 2022, we tragically lost the life of Lea Janae, a precious 4-year-old soul who was mauled by a vicious dog. Any donations to help celebrate the life and assist with the homegoing service of Lea would be greatly appreciated.

Over the last several months, I have fought at every avenue to have my grandchildren safe in my home. But due to broken systems and lack of standing in the state of Texas, I had no legal claim to custody. I have been in an endless battle with my daughter to allow my grandchildren the right to a loving and safe environment.

Within the last three weeks, CPS has been involved. They were alerted to my daughter's mental capacity, the home's dilapidated state and my grandchildren feared the dogs. No actions were taken, and the children were not removed.
