The Center for Discovery - NY Marathon Fundraiser
Tax deductible
I am so excited to be running my first TCS NYC Marathon this November 5th, and to be raising money for The Center for Discovery. The Center for Discovery is dedicated to serving children and adults with complex disabilities, medical frailties, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Contributions will fuel the innovation that makes The Center for Discovery a leader in educational, residential, medical, clinical, nutritional, creative arts, and recreational experiences for everyone they serve.
The Center is an extraordinary place, especially to my family. Two of my cousins, Hugh and Grace, are living and thriving there. Hugh works on The Center's farm, which raises and grows all of the food served at the Center. He's been working with the goats of late, processing cheese, and showing one of them at a local fair. Grace is working on vocational skills in her classroom, and will be checking people out at the book fair for the second year in a row. Grace also participates in many activities with the Center's recreational team such as snow shoeing in the winter months and canoeing in the summer.
I am so thankful for the care, support and growth that Hugh, Grace, and all the residents are experiencing at TCFD and my family. I would be so grateful if you would consider making a contribution to support the tremendous work that happens there. Thank you in advance for anything you can give, and for your friendship and support. The Center for Discovery is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
