Hi friends,

My name is Dan Hannon, and I'm asking for help for one of my best and most generous friends. His name is Jon Chalden and his family, Shannon and Burke, are MY family. I'm sure many of you feel the same way about these folks.

Jon recently had an accident that left him with a broken arm, which wouldn't be a huge deal for some people. But Jon is a professional drummer and earns his living laying down the grooves behind a drum kit. He won't be able to perform for at LEAST 8 weeks, which means he won't be bringing home the proverbial bacon for a while.

In 2019, I had a life-changing surgery that put me in a very desperate and scary position. Jon rallied around my family and me in an incredibly inspiring and selfless way when he organized a fundraiser that helped us pay medical bills. His efforts helped lift the spirits of our friends and family, such that the whole experience was bearable and served as a source of strength and support that helped get us through that challenging season. He is the ideal friend to me and many. He has supported and encouraged the people of our community for decades, and he now needs us to return the favor.
