Champion Mindset....Turning Dreams into Reality!!!

Champion Mindset Gymnastics, the name says it all! Before each practice, the girls repeat their mantra, "I am a Champion. I have the Mindset. I am dedicated. I am determined. It is Me versus Me, as I strive to be The Best I can Be!"

Champion Mindset Gymnastics is one of Georgia's only all-black State, Regional and National championship teams. We are reaching out to share our story with the community to rally continous support. In 2019 the program was disrupted due to Covid-19, and as a result, we lost our gymnastics home. We subleased space from a gym in Covington, GA to keep the program going. Through hard work and perseverance, we kept the team together and competed in 2021, which led the team to be the first all-black gymnastics team in the State of Georgia to win a state title.

In 2022, the team went on to compete another year and did not disappoint! The team now holds 17 individual state titles, 15 regional and 15 national titles for the 2022 competition year. However, success was not met without barriers. After competing in Nationals in 2022, upon our return, we were met with being told that the place in which we were practicing was being sold and we would have to vacate the premises in 30 days. We aggressively looked for locations to lease but were consistently met with resistance. However, through the grace of God, we were able to find a place we can call home!!

As we are nearing the end of our 2023 season, the program has continued to thrive but not without being presented with new barriers. The program has been met with ongoing unfair treatment from being canceled from competitions to being judged unfairly at times. Despite these challenges, Champion Mindset continues to forge its way!! The competitive teams (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Level 6) have all gone undefeated this season!

One may ask "how can we help?" Well, Champion Mindset is looking for support and donations to help purchase new equipment. The new equipment will assist the girls with learning new skills and equip them with making their dreams of becoming an Olympic and/or Collegiate Gymnasts!
