Help the Chavez family while we fight brain cancer

Hi my name is Chace, my 77 year old father Angel (Who lives with me, my partner and our boys (2 and 10) was diagnosed with metastatic cancer in the lungs and brain in May of 2023. I left work to take care of my father, who is a veteran of the Air Force. I had signed up to be a caregiver which would allow me financial assistance during this time. Unfortunately his service connectivity was not high enough to approve this at the current time. Although the VA is working to increase it and doing their best, we are currently falling behind on bills and are struggling to keep food in the house. I have applied for food stamps and assistance but are having issues with that as well. All funds wil be used to keep the bills paid and food in the house until we can get approval from the VA for caregiver status to be approved! My Pop is an amazing father and I appreciate any help anyone can donate while I try to care for him in this difficult time. I know things are hard all over so even if its not possible to give, please, just keep Pop in your thoughts. Thank you.
