Hi my name is Graham and I’m fundraising for my bowls club.

The Cheshunt Bowls Club, founded in 1924, so 2024 will be our 100years centenary.

The club has a rich history that spans nearly a century. The club was established in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, England, with the primary aim of promoting and fostering the sport of lawn bowls in the local community.

Over the decades, The Cheshunt Bowls Club has played a significant role in the area's sporting life. It has grown in membership and has become a hub for lawn bowlers of all skill levels. The club has been known for its well-maintained greens and welcoming atmosphere, attracting bowlers from the surrounding region.

Throughout its history, the club has hosted numerous competitions and events, both for its members and for the wider bowls community. Members have actively participated in various leagues and tournaments, showcasing their skills and sportsmanship.

The Cheshunt Bowls Club

The Cheshunt Bowls Club(Outdoor) was founded in 1924 some 99 years ago

So 2024 we will be celebrating our 100th Year.

The club is located at Albury Ride, Crossbrook Street, Cheshunt, Herts, EN8 8XG.

Although we are a small club in terms of membership now, we compete with all

Hertfordshire & East Hertfordshire Clubs, Harlow & District Seniors League,

And Friendly matches throughout the season.

We are still very competitive in County Competitions,

And in 1996 one of our members was Champion of Champions.

We are still interested in finding new members to join our happy and friendly club.

Even if you are a complete beginner or an experienced bowler, come Andre join us.

If you are a beginner our Qualified Coach will coach you, We all have to start somewhere.

Our Green is maintained by professional Green keepers and is kept to a high standard.

In Fact, it is reckoned to be one of the best in the county.

We have a presentation evening yearly at our club house in Cheshunt

where trophies are presented to members.

We have no age limits.

Everyone from the age of 14 will be welcomed

We are looking for sponsors to:-

1. Supply our new 100 years centenary Club shirts (around 40 shirts), these would include your Name / Logo.

2. Sponsor Prize money for one of our Gala Days.

3. Sponsor advertising boards around our green, these to include your Logo/Name.

4. Financial help to running costs within the club.

5. Financial help towards upkeep of the costs of the green.
