The Chicago Brauhaus Legacy
Want to join us in making a difference?
We are raising money to transform our community room on our 2nd floor (commonly referred to as the Brandenburg Room) into the Brauhaus Room which will pay homage to the Chicago Brauhaus which up served German Gemütlichkeit for 52 years in the Lincoln Square neighborhood of Chicago. The Chicago Brauhaus closed its doors in December 2017 and the DANK Haus courted the owners, Harry and Guenther Kempf, because we want their legacy to be preserved. Two years later, we have acquired a lot of treasured artifacts from the Chicago Brauhaus, but we need your support for the transformation efforts. Please donate today and keep the German traditions alive and well in Chicago!
