Resources for Badumeh School, The Gambia

During a trip to The Gambia in 2013, two British travellers stopped on the Highway to give out crayons to a small number of school children. Within minutes they were surrounded bychildren who seemed to appear out of nowhere.

They had stumbled upon Badumeh Lower Basic school, which coincidentally had formed that very same year. A strong bond was formed and ever since a small team of people have raised funds in the UK and continued to support the school via a not for profit organisation

they established called ‘Nice to be Nice’.

In 2022-23 Nice to be Nice are running several fundraising campaigns collecting cash donations to buy school resources, food supplies and IT equipment for Badumeh, Lower Basic School in The Gambia.
