Hi, my name is Peng Mak, husband of Donna Grace Alipat.

Donna Marie Grace Enojo Alipat (Mak) graced the earth for 37 years, and unexpectedly passed away on August 11, 2022 at Lovelace Downtown hospital. She was born on September 13, 1984, and entered earth at Perpetual Health Hospital in Manila, Philippines, and the quiet, intelligent, compassionate, loving, and kind daughter of Herminigildo Dalida Alipat and Consejo “Connie” Enojo. Even at a young age, Donna lived and loved in faithful service to God and dedicated Christ-like service to others. Her family and friends described and experienced the acts of service and Christianity in the goodness, kindness, humility, and generosity within their interactions with Grace.

She is a phenomenal supportive and genuine sister to her siblings: Che Alipat, Kent Alipat, and Mae Alipat and an incredible auntie to Aiden, Nikais, Liam, Kiana, and Emma, and the many nieces and nephews in the Enojo-Alipat-Mak family she loved and cared for deeply.

She met her partner and soulmate, Peng Mak, at UNM and built strong foundations for a beautiful lifelong commitment and a future together with a home in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Donna welcomed her children and with the love and committed passion and gusto for life with Peng. They are raising a quiet, gentle, sweet, loving son, Paxton, and a caring, sincere, smart daughter, Sehana.

She has faithfully lived a life with purposeful direction in use of her talents and God-given gifts and embraced the selfless meaning as a dedicated daughter, loving sister, gentle mother, devoted wife, generous aunt, compassionate friend, and a humble doctor.

Donna graduated with honors throughout her academic, including her Bachelor’s degree of Psychology, minor in Chemistry, from University of New Mexico, and her doctorate in Oriental Medicine. Following graduation, Donna was a community health worker, home health care provider, medical intern. Dr. Grace built a one of kind and caring practice in Albuquerque, Mexico and shared her gifts in Acupuncture medicine to the community. Dr. Grace gave her life in service with compassion for others and will be missed by many. She was building a legacy for a high standard of patient care and ensuring the level of care for patients with wraparound services and care in mind. She will be leaving an impact in the communities she has helped heal and served, from people of all walks of life, in the Philippines, Canada, and United States, and especially in New Mexico.
